Renaissance Rabbit

The cosplayer's daughter sat in a pose full of attitude. The agreed upon terms of being able to one handedly check her iphone backfiring on the artist as she insisted on holding it in the displayed hand. "Like.. how long is this going to take?" was a frequently muttered expression, and to the dismay of the artist her ethereal beauty in his picture showed her somewhat spoiled attitude.

I dreamed of this scenario as I commenced my visual research and found the picture "Maria Magdalena" by Crivelli (1480) from the first Italian Renaissance. The attitude and facial expression of the model he used made me wonder what she, the model, must have been like.

Emo Bear

Let it run and stain my cheeks. My aching heart reminds me I am still alive and the solemn stares of strangers let me know I don't fit in. Bear emotion and raw feelings are what I am about.

Sparkle Bears Smiling

With inexplicable sparkly joy and pointy toothed smiles these bears greet you. It does make you wonder what they are so happy about.

Bear for Bear's Sake

Bear for bear's sake can not be called art. Unless that is his name. The nose, the button eyes, the pose... what am I looking at? What does it mean? If you wonder whether there is a point to it... well keep wondering, it gives you something to do.
