Bear Life

Tomorrow I may conquer the world but today I contemplate.  "Consciousness is life itself." "I think, therefore I am." What is consciousness? This is the infinite debate throughout the ages.   Odin Bear sits on his throne with his ravens Hugin (thought) and Munin (memory or mind), his Wolves Geri and Freki, his spear Gungnir and some Old Norse God attitude.

With inexplicable sparkly joy and pointy toothed smiles these bears greet you. It does make you wonder what they are so happy about. 

  He is a bear that is just too apathetic to do more than hang on the swing, but that is ok because he enjoys the different view and likes to philosophise about the upside down world. There is a fervent hope in his fluff that Cheekycute bear will not come by and spin the swing.

Bleary and weary.... Bweary bear. It was a very very long day.

Floating through the many realms of reflection this Bunny relaxes into all his planes of existence.

Wandering in the suspended reality of the half light at dawn Bleary bear searches for the coffee.

This is Emo Bear. Not afraid to show his fluffy feelings. His panda eyes echo the darkness of his ....  despair.  He has just run out of bamboo.

Classically trained in ninja warfare this bunny has nothing to fear except, (insert suspenseful drumming), ninja foxes.

If anyone can get away with it, Cheeky Cute Bear can. So adorable that you'll smile as he walks all over you with his muddy but adorable little paws.

As the bright light hit the fluff Sleepin Bear refused to acknowledge it. It was too early. Of course this was expressed as "nuuuuhhhhhh" and Sleepin Bear turning away from the sun.

There can be no explanation except in your dreams.

Samurai Bear stared at Karrote Bunny, yep they were still enemies, but could they pretend otherwise?

Chivalry Bear's grand rescue and fame plans were thwarted by his cowardly (but sensible) horse. One look at the oversized wyrm and he ran off to the dismay of the Princess and Chivalry Bear.

The biscotti lay forgotten as the last dregs are slurped from the cup of coffee, the dark liquid absorbed into the fluffy blood of Coffee Addict Bear. Now a thought floated into his coffee stained stuffing... how to get out of the cup.

Love went beyond spots and stripes, it transcended outward appearances and so she gave herself over to bear love.

This painting makes me want to lay on the grass outside and do some gardening myself, bear style! I had lots of fun composing this from various photos of Monet's garden and his beautiful paintings as well as some inspiration from my own weeds out the front.

The cosplayer's daughter sat in a pose full of attitude. The agreed upon terms of being able to one handedly check her iphone backfiring on the artist as she insisted on holding it in the displayed hand. "Like.. how long is this going to take?" was a frequently muttered expression, and to the dismay of the artist her ethereal beauty in his picture showed her somewhat spoiled attitude. I dreamed of this scenario as I commenced my visual research and found the picture "Maria Magdalena" by Crivelli (1480) from the first Italian Renaissance. The attitude and facial expression of the model he used made me wonder what she, the model, must have been like.
